Bio: Males use large back legs for combat, are related to assassin and stink bugs, and use their piercing-and-sucking mouthparts to feed on plant juices. Predatory leaf-footed bugs patrol tree branches and low-growing plants for caterpillars, grasshoppers, and other insect prey. Like stink bugs, leaf-footed bugs are able to secrete foul-smelling, foul-tasting fluids from pores on the sides of their bodies.
